This Comme des Garcons skirt is from the S/S 2003 collection. It has all the signature avant garde touches Rei Kawakubo is known for, while remaining entirely wearable!

The skirt has a built in mini skirt underneath for more volume and a distinct padded front "bustle." The skirt has a raw edge hem in the back as well as along the asymmetrically sewn paper bag waist and pockets. The front of the skirt is velvet and the back is a muslin like cotton.

The beauty of this skirt is that it can be worn with the gathered bustle either in front or in back! Both ways look phenomenal.

It closes with a side zipper and is meant to be worn either at the waist or high on the hip. The skirt is labeled a size small, and it fits like a 4/6.
